What a wonderful venue to hold a trade show; far and away from the direct exhaust of car fumes, a beautiful sunny day with blue skies, nestled in amongst the many condos, insurance buildings and financial institutions. There it was this oasis on a roof top.
While the space is typically used to hold Zumba classes, houses a running track and doubles as a yoga studio, last Saturday August 20th, the YMCA Metro Central rooftop accommodated, roughly 23 local, organic and 'green' vendors. Many of these vendors included: Bullfrog Power, At Home Organics, Livegreen Toronto, Down to Earth Solar Power, Green Earth Organics, The Vegetarian Association, Grasshopper Solar and who can't forget On The Side Inc. Not bad for a first time 'green' event at the Y!!!!!!!!!
If you missed it this year, I'll be sure to keep you up to date for 2012.
Thanks go to the organizers of the event, with hopes that the word will spread like wild fire. For all those who had a chance to sample and purchase my products my sincere gratitude.
